Everyone has different opinions on what will bring you social media success – your content, the photos you choose, a consistent brand, and more.

Yes, these all do play a part, but today I challenge you to think about perseverance. By definition, 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴.

Do you have perseverance when it comes to social media and your overall digital marketing efforts?

We live in a world where we wanted things 𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 – making it easy to set ourselves up for disappointment. I challenge you to start practicing perseverance when you’re finding yourself getting impatient or discouraged.

Here are three ways to practice perseverance:

𝟏. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 – Have the mindset that success is possible for you and the impact social media can have for your business is huge! If you have the mindset that it won’t work for you, I believe you’re creating a self-fulfilling prophecy for yourself.

𝟐. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 – You will get out what you put in. If you’re consistent as hell expect your followers to be consistent as hell back. Make the commitment to show up and establish yourself as the expert.

𝟑. 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 – Even the most influential entrepreneurs today had a journey to the top and they didn’t end up where they are overnight. Put in the hard work and remember that small steps that move the needle forward in your business are a big deal! Got 5 new followers in one week? That’s great! That’s 5 people that now know about your business that didn’t before.
